Experience

Driving social change has been a thread throughout my career. There have been two major chapters so far;

01

Charity, Founder + CEO
I founded Art Against Knives and spent over a decade leading the award-winning, youth-led charity that’s transformed 2000+ lives, affected systems change and informed social justice policy .

 A snapshot of my proudest achievements;

Co-designing multiple award-winning delivery models and partnerships that tackled inequalities across community, justice, health and social care, positioning young people as problem solvers and securing investment in them and their ideas and inspiring best practice across the UK.

Growing the organisation and securing it’s long-term viability via income from the UK’s leading funders including BBC Children in Need, Youth Music and National Lottery and corporate partnerships with leading brands including Apple, Converse and Universal Music.

Establishing a powerful youth-led brand that engaged marginalised young people across London, putting them in the lead of their own narratives and re-framing them as creatives. Consistently securing national press coverage, from culture leading media platforms including Dazed + Confused, GUAP, I.D & Vogue.

Senior Strategist + Consultant

As a Senior Strategy Consultant at B+A,  I led global research, strategy and culture change projects that fuelled regenerative growth for the likes of Nike, Samsung and The National Gallery.

 A snapshot of my proudest achievements;

Creating a game-chaning Audience Strategy for The National Gallery, which set them on course to truly become the Gallery for the Nation.

Strategic design and delivery of Samsung’s national CSR programme ‘Solve for Tomorrow’, an award-winning alternative education programme that supported 20,000+ young people across the UK.

Co-designing a Connected Membership Strategy for Nike and their partners Pro:Direct with 120+ young athletes across the UK. As a result two of the most prevalent brands in their lives united to invest in equitable grassroots sport.

Designing and delivering global research for Nike to better understand the needs of the breakdancing community through the lens of women via ethnography with elite and grassroots Athletes - we even gifted the research back to them.

“It has been so lovely working with you over the past few months. The feedback from our teams here has been the same – so positive about the experience of the workshops, the dynamism, your ability to listen and distill thoughts and create a collegiate atmosphere. The Hub won’t be the same without you!” - Jane Knowles, Director of Public Engagement, the National Gallery
